Furniture System "Landscape" for Burri public elements

A success that struck the nerve of the period

In 2002, in a collaboration with Raderschallpartner Landschaftsarchitekten, I created the furniture system Landscape for MFO-Park in Zurich Oerlikon: benches and lounges with frames made of galvanized steel and seating surfaces made of wood. In the years since, the system was expanded by introducing various chairs, stools, and tables and now sells better than ever.

In 2005, I developed the bench for Altstetterplatz in Zurich. The seating surfaces consist of especially robust high-pressure laminate boards. The routed patterns made of stylized branches recall transportation paths and fits in with the location under plane trees between the rail station and the tram stop.
