Pavilion "Oui!" for Expo 02, Yverdon-les-Bains

The fitting symbol for a temporary affirmation of love

At the pavilion Oui!, designed by Boesch Architekten, couples could get married just for a day. To share this with the world, we invented the light needle: a small, pink-colored light that glows whenever a capsule is broken and slowly extinguishes after twenty-four hours. Thanks to its metal mount, this accessory could be placed anywhere, on trousers, a shirt, or in your hair. For the waiting period before the wedding, our woven cane seating was available, inspired by the sea and fishing.
