Example, imitation, and further development

Theory is presented with a humorous twist: old-fashioned looking display cases present collections and illustrations as we know them from a museum of natural history. Where these precious sources of inspiration led becomes visible in various islands, where subjects like the sea, topography, the forest, smell, or the climate are explored in numerous exhibits. Here, it becomes clear how much nature and its laws flow into concepts and processes of design.
