Smoking Lounge, Hotel Waldhaus, Sils Maria

Armchair, lamp, table: all the requirements of comfort

The smoking lounge with its oval form was to be a room where it is pleasant to spend time enjoying, alone or in company. For the furnishings, we took our orientation from the existing interior design and the spectacular surroundings. The armchair was inspired by the club chairs in the major hall of the hotel and rendered lighter and more modern in several steps. To make optimal use of space in the smoking lounge, we suggested combining small tables with the floor lamps. As a contrast to the brushed brass, the tabletops are fitted with black glass plates. The texture of the rock wall before the large window is echoed on the printed lampshades.
