Fuki-Urushi Table

Fertile dialogue between East and West

This table was inspired by monastery refectory tables, the curved form and wing-like small sides lend it a lightness. Its impressive character is given by the almost three and a half meter long tabletop and by the surface treatment with urushi, a Japanese lacquer tradition with almost one thousand years of history.
